I think an important first step is meeting people where they are and getting to know how we can best work together. As such, my first focus will be getting to know you and developing the ever-important counselling relationship. I want you to feel comfortable and safe.

I believe in the importance of language and how we use language to both shape and reflect our lives. By approaching with curiosity, we can deepen our stories and begin to create change.

That exploration can also help to provide context to behaviours and emotions. Everything makes sense in context. I will work with you in a collaborative, nonjudgmental way. Feminism is a part of my personal belief system that influences me as a person as well as the way I approach the counseling relationship. I believe in creating a sex positive environment. I think sex is such a large part of many humans experiences, yet there is often a kind of mysticism surrounding sex and lack of healthy communication about it. I was drawn to this field because I think that by deconstructing a lot of the unhealthy social sexual messaging, we can begin to change how we see ourselves and how we understand sex.

I enjoy traveling, cooking, sports, and using humour to connect.

My pronouns are he/him and I live and work on the unceded territories of the Ts'uubaa-asatx (Tsoo-bah-seht) Nation.
