Through our internship program, we are able to provide:
lower cost options for counselling to make therapy, including sex therapy, more accessible to folks who need it
quality counselling services through intern counsellors who receive direct supervision by our team’s most experienced clinicians
intern counsellors space to hone their skills in sex therapy to create more highly-trained and competent therapists specializing in this field

Minou Truong (she/her)
Minou Truong is a graduate student at Adler University completing her Masters of Counselling Psychology with interests in hypersexuality, sexual trauma and desire discrepancy. Her work is trauma informed and inspired from narrative therapy with a client-centred approach that focuses on how to separate the client from the problem, providing a non-judgmental, open, and reflective space for client to process their own healing.

Anita Middar (she/her)
Anita Middar is a graduate student at Adler University completing her Masters of Counselling Psychology with interests in low desire, sexual trauma and childhood sexual abuse, and sexual confidence and self-esteem. Her work is trauma informed and she utilizes internal family systems (IFS) in session. Anita wants to help peel back the layers of shame and guilt that society often places on us and engage in open conversations about sexuality and relationships. By providing a space where clients can talk freely about their experiences, she hopes to break down the isolation around these topics and help clients feel more understood and supported.
