About Diana

Before describing my academic credentials, I want you to get to know me as a fellow human who wants to walk with you through this journey of discovery and growth. Why does this matter? During our work together, I’m asking you to become vulnerable and share some of your deepest stories and emotions with me in order to help you work through the issue(s) that landed you to working with me.

Part of this work is that you grow to trust me and trust must be earned; this is my chance to start working on earning that from you. I hold a non-judgmental, compassionate, and sex-positive approach for my clients first and foremost and my techniques and modalities are weaved into a pleasure-focused approach.

Sexuality has always been my passion. As a person who feels incredibly comfortable and open to having these conversations, I’ve experienced, first-hand, how our society views and discusses topics around sex and sexuality, particularly in relationships. I have experienced the shame, guilt, embarrassment, and discomfort around sexuality, both personally and professionally, and have made it my purpose to help as many people as I can heal from sex negativity. You should be able to ask the questions that are on your mind about sex and about your relationship and get an open and honest answer without any judgement and be welcomed with genuine interest and curiosity. I want to help spread the sexual positivity that I experience to as many people as I can, including you.

I believe that all of us are striving to find connection and safety with ourselves and others. It takes great authenticity and vulnerability to do this and I am honoured to be a part of my clients’ journeys and to create space for you to do this, especially around sexuality which has a huge impact on our lives. My goal is to help people just like you develop healthy relationships with their partners, their families, and most importantly, themselves. My work is specialized in difficulties with desire, sexual and genital pain, and healing from sexual trauma, as well as LGBTQ+ couples issues.

Who am I outside of my role as a therapist? I am a daughter, a sister, a partner, and pet owner to my three big personality kitties - Milo, Matilda, & Mia and sweet pup, Girlie. I enjoy being near the water and beach, spending time with friends and family, and curling up on the couch watching movies. Baking is one of my most peaceful and nurturing activities.

My identities are central to how I see and navigate the world – I am a queer cisgender mixed-race woman of colour.

Black lives matter. I work and live on the unceded, ancestral, and occupied, traditional lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Watuth), Stó:lō, Shíshálh (Sechelt) and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations of the Coast Salish people as an uninvited settler.
