As my university trauma studies professor once told me - “True meaningful connection with another person can feel absolutely terrifying”. So why should therapy feel any different? Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and honest with another human being in front of us and who we barely know in hopes that they see us for something more than our growing edges - that can be absolutely terrifying. That is human.

I believe healing in a therapeutic sense comes about relationally. That healing lies in the meaningful connections we make with one another and in community. For that to occur, we must feel safe, heard, supported and free to express all parts of ourselves. That is the therapeutic space I intentionally create - a space that encourages vulnerability and growth; a space where you feel seen, supported and understood.

I believe that the sexual part of ourselves is often an area of wellbeing that is overlooked  because of societal shame and stigma. Yet, to feel a complete sense of wellbeing, we have to be attune to our sexual self. We have to honour and be in touch with that part of ourselves. With that philosophy, I aim to create a sex-positive, kink-positive, and sex worker-allied space for all types of individuals and all types of relationships.

My therapeutic style rest on the foundations of anti-oppressive, trauma-informed and sex positive practices. I meet clients with openness and curiosity while supporting them through transformation with the combined knowledge of IFS-informed parts work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Attachment Theory.

As we all have many identities, so do I. Outside of the counselling space I find joy in training Jiu-jitsu, sketching, being in nature, and spending time with my chosen family and friends.

My identities play a strong role in how I interact with the world around me - I am queer, non-binary, and South Indian.

I acknowledge that my work and residence takes place on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-waututh) Nations.
