Booking & Scheduling

Integrating consistent bookings into your routine and making therapy a part of your life can make the process more effective! There are several ways sessions can be booked – we want you to be aware of all of your options.

Booking with your clinician

The best way to book your sessions is directly with your therapist! Your therapist knows their availability and schedule better than anyone else (even the online scheduler!). Your clinician can also ensure that your appointments and frequency keep you on track towards your goals!

Booking online

You may prefer to book online, and that’s totally fine as well! Please be aware that our teams run full caseloads and clients generally are on a recurring schedule – for this reason, you may find more limited availability if you’re booking as you go. In this case, we recommend booking as often as you know your schedule or adding yourself to your counsellor’s waitlist.

Regular bookings are an important part of success in therapy! When you see your counsellor regularly, especially at the start, it helps to create a more solid treatment plan, improve outcomes, and create momentum in the therapeutic process. We recommend weekly to biweekly frequency for the first 3 months of therapy to ensure your success! While you may book less frequently, you may notice slower shifts and less than ideal outcomes. We encourage you to discuss this with your therapist if you do need to attend less frequently than biweekly to adjust your Plan of Care accordingly.
