First and foremost, I want to meet and connect with you as a person. Putting yourself in this position of vulnerability and openness can be so difficult and I am honoured to be a part of your journey. I want to be a witness and collaborator in helping you live authentically and non-apologetically through providing a non-judgmental and shame-free space where you explore and address your questions around sex, sexual trauma and sexuality. This means working together to create real change, honouring you where you are at with honesty, openness and warmth and fostering a positive relationship between you, sex and your emotions.

Growing up in a heavily censored cultural environment, I experienced firsthand how damaging stigma around sex and mental health can be. This is also why I dove headfirst into this field! I see so much repression and avoidance that creates real emotional pain as a consequence and I want to help others who experienced a culture like mine to be free of those restraints.

I understand the difficulty of coming to terms with these taboo topics when you might not have a space to explore it in your personal life. I want to be a space where all your questions and issues are welcomed. I bring a trauma-informed, culturally humble and sex-positive attitude to our work together to ensure that you’re able to fully explore and express your curiosity or concerns without judgement.

I take a lot of inspiration from Narrative therapy in my work with clients and will centre you as the expert in your own life as well as fostering the therapist-client relationship. I am here to collaborate and support you in your journey by creating a dedicated space for you to explore and provide thought provoking questions for guidance as opposed to directing the choices you should make. I also work through an anti-oppressive framework to help you connect with yourself beyond the negative cultural messaging that may have been damaging for you.

Outside of therapy, I’m a singer, actor and a writer. I love writing short stories and songs in my free time and playing video games to relax. Wherever possible, I find opportunities to perform and grow both as an artist and a person.

Our cultural experiences contribute to forming our identity and mine will colour the way I function and see the world. I am a Vietnamese queer, cis-gender woman living and learning on unceded, ancestral, and occupied, traditional lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Watuth), Stó:lō, Shíshálh (Sechelt) and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations of the Coast Salish peoples.
