Hi there! I’m Mara and I am deeply interested in all things related to health care.

I am originally from Germany and have spent the early part of my career working as an internationally trained nurse before earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Management.

I have joined the Allura Team as the Practice Manager in July 2022. As such, I am responsible for our back-end responsibilities ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly. I love impactful work and I am driven by my passion for justice especially in regards to equalizing access to health care resources and de-stigmatizing mental health. What I love about my job is that I am able to pursue both my professional and personal interests.

Outside of work I enjoy participating in performance art, going on little adventures, and recently started scuba diving again. When I am not out and about I like spending time reading a book in my hammock and sipping on a cup of tea.

Mara helps take care of all of our existing clients and our team! She's the face and voice behind the emails and calls when you contact us for any administrative or billing support, and she ensures our team is supported at all times.
