I am passionate for helping better the relationships of my clients whether it is with themselves or in their intimate partnerships. Sexuality is a vulnerable part of our lives to explore; I prioritize a strengths-based approach and apply trauma-informed practice to ensure you feel valued and safe. It’s important that therapy goes at your pace and feels right to you; feedback is always encouraged.

I draw from the work of the Gottman Institute to improve a person’s meaningful connections and avoid pitfalls within their intimate relationships. I also utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy to build self-awareness and assist in reducing negative interaction cycles.

As a gay man, I understand the importance of unlearning internalized homophobia and transphobia to unblock each person’s sexual potential. For many queer and trans people, feeling validated in their experience is key to building a strong therapeutic relationship.

I want you to know that your concerns are understood and your goals are prioritized. I have a diverse background both personally and professionally to assist in therapy with concerns such as improving sexual satisfaction, sex after becoming parents, coming out, gender dysphoria in sex, anti-gay/trans conversion therapy recovery, impacts of sexual trauma, navigating degrees of sexual openness, differences in sexual desire, sexuality and religion, emotional and sexual reconnection, couple, triads, and polyamorous relationship counselling.

I live in the South Surrey / White Rock area with my husband and daughter. In my personal time, I enjoy getting a sweaty workout at the gym and going for walks with our family dog, Epic. I am a self-proclaimed nerd and love comic books, drag queens, Star Trek, and many other fandoms.

My pronouns are he/him.
