I believe that sex and sexuality are a lifelong journey and can be addressed through talking about emotions and relationships. My intention is to create a sex positive space where you can feel safe to explore and unpack your experiences as I walk alongside you on this part of your journey. I acknowledge that healing is not a linear process, and I understand that people, sexuality, and relationships are complex. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and experiences, and I work to support you in developing a deeper understanding and trust within yourself

Sex therapy has always been appealing to me because I consider sex to be a significant and healthy part of peoples’ lives that can be enjoyed in many ways and holds different meanings for different people. I also understand that experiencing desire and pleasure through sexuality can be very empowering and liberating. I hope to help you create connection, safety, and security as well as a sense of newfound exploration in your relationship to yourself, others, and your life.

I believe that paying attention to the body can be an essential part of the healing process as painful experiences often get felt and stuck there. Through deep curiosity, we can learn to attune and reintegrate parts of ourselves that have been shut down or disconnected, and we can reconnect with our wholeness, our ability to navigate pleasure, and develop a greater sense of connection.

I utilize a combination of experiential, emotion-focused and solution-focused approaches with some somatic therapy to navigate a process that is attuned, empathetic, and curious. Based on your specific wants and needs, I may also offer mindfulness practices to reduce distress. I bring a trauma-informed perspective aligned with the values of social justice into our sessions. I provide a space of openness, nonjudgment, and acceptance, and I believe in the impact of change and growth.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy being in nature, reading books, drinking coffee, and continuously learning through educational courses.
